(More customer reviews)I was very impressed with the quality of this costume. It didn't look or feel cheap at all. In fact it was very soft. My son (15 months old) thought it was a stuffed animal and enjoyed simply carrying it around the house, hugging it. I marked this costume highly on educational value because once we put it on my son, he began hooting like an owl which he hadn't done before. So in a way, it made him put a face to a word, so to speak. One of the reasons I chose this costume is because I knew it would keep my son warm on a cold, New England Halloween. And it did.

(More customer reviews)The product is very nice felt type material - actually will be like a nice jacket on a cool brisk halloween night. Quality is better than expected for a mail order costume. Nothing like the cheap "don't get near a fire" material you find on racks at stores. I would highly recommend spending the few extra bucks to get this over the entry level costume (although I personally have not seen that one, I don't think they could make it much nicer than this for about $30). It is especially worth the extra $ if your child plays dress up or is the biggest Harry Potter fan in the world and will wear it night and day.
