(More customer reviews)We purchased this item for Christmas for our young daughter. She literally "loves" her dress-ups costumes to death by wearing them constantly. Washing them has proven destructive to the thin material that I have seen used in these type of dresses.
This dress is not made of the shiny, thin material that easily runs and rips out of the seams. It is made of a stretchy velvet-type material. We have already laundered this dress once and it came out beautifully. I would highly recommend this company.

This is a gorgeous dress, perfect for the holidays!It is our only dress up costume made entirely out of stretchy velvet.The luxurious red velvet and long sleeves make this a great choice for the cold winter months. The dress has no velcro or zippers to frustrate your little one or snag thefabric.She can easily put it on and take it off herself as the bodice is made of a very stretchy velvet.This not only helps with ease of dressing, but alsoto accomodate a variety of sizes.As with all of our dresses, it is washable, wearable and made to last!Model is wearing our Fullness Slip underneath.This is not included but is available separately.
