(More customer reviews)My gentle 8-year-old daughter used this toy 3 times before the light on one side stopped working. The batteries and bulb are fine...Hubby opened the case to find that it's the soldering inside that is broken, making it impossible to repair. Also, there are too few clothing shapes on the stencils from which to choose ...My little fashionista used her creativity to alter/combine the shapes that are provided, but it's stifling to have to use the same 8 or so silhouettes over and over. She had no interest in designing shoes and would have preferred to have more clothing shapes and fewer shoe-only design stencils. Now that the light box is broken, this is going in the trash; We didn't know it would break before Amazon's 30 days were up (I bought it early as a holiday gift, so the time was up before she even received it). Daughter is very disappointed and money is wasted on poor quality and execution of a good idea. :(
UPDATE: Company is sending a free replacement for the broken item...I'll update when I see how that one goes...
