(More customer reviews)The items in this set were a perfect addition to my son's (aged 10) Jack Sparrow costume. The rings and glove fit his hand well (he wore the rings on his index finger and his thumb). The glove would not have fit a hand that was much bigger than his. The rings are a sturdy plastic and seem to fit many sizes of fingers as they fit him nicely but will also go on all of my fingers as well. So many things are cheaply made, but these items seemed to be good, quality items. He really enjoys playing with the compass frequently; initially, I was worried when he wanted to play with it so much and was afraid that it would break before Halloween, but it stood the test of time and is still intact. Admitedly, he hasn't played roughly with it, but so many things are flimsy and break quickly, and this hasn't. (It's not a working compass, but the arrow does turn and he pretends to take bearings.) He looks very cool when wearing all of the pieces - they really did round out his costume nicely. I was definitely glad I'd gotten it.
