My wife's family is Tex-Mex and our Mexican heritage is celebrated throughout the year. My daughter loves that Barbie is so beautiful with dark eyes and hair just like herself, my wife, her cousins, aunts and grandmothers. Mattel has done well to produce dolls in a wide spectrum beyond the blue-eyed blonde-haired icon.
