(More customer reviews)I really love a lot of the cute outfits Build a Bear offers but this one is my favorite so far. It aims to look similar to a more formal men's outfit. The black top and the overcoat feel a bit stiff, like costume taffeta. The hakama portion is made out of a sturdy cotton. The black top and hakama are attached together as it appears in the picture.
There is a cord that goes across the front that is attached to the overcoat on the inside. It is sewn in on one side and attached with velcro on the other. To be honest, I'm not sure how well it would hold up if young children played with it a lot. However, I think this would be a great addition to any Build a Bear friend's wardrobe regardless.
