(More customer reviews)We just bought our Dot Starlight doll. Very cute! I'm glad there is at least one Lalaloopsy doll with dark skin, but I wish she had pink or blue hair instead of yellow. She is very cute and we like her dress. My only complaint is that the red tulle on her dress is unraveling all over the place already, and we've only had her one day. She is also very top heavy, and the way they package it leaves plastic on the top of head.
These dolls are cute, but you have to know your child. They are not "cuddly" and don't make good bedtime dolls, so if that's your objective you may want something else. I would pay attention to the age range. My 2 year old daughter loves dolls, but she prefers babies with the soft bodies that she can cuddle. She likes Dot so far, but she seems to prefer her softer dolls. I think she will enjoy her more when she is older, like at age 4 as the manufacturer suggests. The one good thing about her being all plastic is that we can surface wash her more easily.

Dot Starlight was made from a real astronauts space suit! Shes a dreamer who lvoes science and shes always got her head in the clouds. She also has a pet bird!Sewn on date July 20th (1st man on the moon!)
