(More customer reviews)My son bought this for his growing collection of Build-A-Bear clothing and accessories. The outside is shiny plastic, which he decorated with the included stickers. The inside has shelves made of cardboard.
We had to assemble it ourselves, which wasn't difficult, except I put the plastic pieces together thinking I could place the shelves in last. If you do it, make the shelves first, then put it in the unit before connecting all six sides, or you won't be able to fit the shelf unit in.
Right now, the shelves hold two pairs of shoes, a Santa suit, a set of pajamas and a Darth Vader costume. The shelves are full, but my son has nothing hanging from the hanging rack, yet. He had tossed the hangers that came with his bear clothes and this armoire doesn't come with any. I called a Build-A-Bear store and they hand those out for free, so we'll have to go back and get some.
The mirror is not a real mirror. It's just shiny and doesn't reflect images clearly -- nothing like the picture online.
With all that bear clothing floating around, I'm glad my son decided to buy this armoire. It keeps everything neat and organized. I like everything about it, except that the shelves are cardboard, which make it a little less durable.
