(More customer reviews)My brothers ordered me this set for Christmas. It's apparently a set of pins available in gashapon vending machines (the Japanese equivalent of those machines you see in grocery stories where you can get collectible stickers, costume jewelry, etc.), made in China. The figures are kind of neat to have, though a lot of them are relatively obscure from the point of view of non-fans (such as pin J, which comes from an episode in which Goemon's sword was stolen and the Lupin gang had to coat their plane in the one substance it could not cut through--mashed yams--to get it back).
I collect pins and buttons and put them on my denim jacket, and did so for these pins. To my annoyance, the very day after I put them on, one of the pins broke and came off my jacket. They seem to have the same fundamental problem as a lot of cloisonné pins in that the junction between the pin (which is basically a metal tack soldered onto the back of the pin) and the rest of the pin is weak enough that it can break off under stress.
If you're a big enough Lupin fan to want to wear Lupin-related pins all over your jacket, backpack, or other pin venue, and don't mind spending about $2.50 per pin for pins that may possibly be too fragile to last, this is a great set to have. But I suspect it may be a little too expensive for casual fans to care about.
