(More customer reviews)I purchased 3 barbie dresses from Olivia's Doll Closet. Two were manufactured by cie cie and were beautiful and well made of good material. This dress was made by another manufacturer and one layer of this dress is made of paper-like material instead of nice fabric and the dress had a strong chemical smell. I threw it away.

Madeline Doll Case Review

(More customer reviews)My four-year-old daughter loves Madeline, and she has all 6 Madeline characters available in the 8" doll line. I bought this doll case because it was meant to hold the 8" dolls and their accessories. Inside the case (which looks like the "old house in Paris that was covered with vines) there is a hangar bar on one side for hanging the little outfits, and satin ribbons on the other side for tying the dolls in place so they don't bounce around. Both sides have a drawer for little stuff such as their shoes, gloves and hats. It is great if you only have the Madeline doll and a few outfits, but this case quickly becomes insufficient when you add her friends to the collection. And when my daughter got the Ms. Clavel doll, we discovered that she doesn't fit in the case at all - she's too tall! Needless to say, making everything fit into the case became such a chore, that the dolls don't get put away very often.

Barbie 50th Anniversary Doll Case Reproduction Review

(More customer reviews)This was a disappointment and, if it hadn't been a gift for Christmas, I would have returned it. It's reasonably well made - the interior hanger is metal and seems like it will hold up well. However, inside is an open box insert - I recall my doll case as having drawer inserts - not just an open cardboard box. Put something in it and it will end up all over the inside of the case. Wish there had been interior descriptions. This item is very expensive for what you get. I'm in the process of making sliding drawers for the box so this case is of some use to the child who wanted this for Christmas. So, unless you're getting this to add to a Barbie collection and are only expecting something that "looks like" what you may recall from 50 years ago, pass it up. Not worth the money.

They usually keep their Barbie's where ever they land after playing, but after purchasing this, they stay nice and neat, organized. The only issue is once I hung it over my door frame, my little one could not reach the top, so instead I hung it on the wall with wall tacks in their "Barbie area".

(More customer reviews)I bought these dresses for my daughters 6th birthday. She likes them because she loves to dress her Barbie's up in fancy clothes. However, they are made of a paper-like material. The seam on the front of the yellow one wasn't sewn properly (so theres a big space) and the straps broke on the blue one the first time she put it on a doll!
The same day I ordered these, I also ordered some dresses from Olivia's Doll Closet - wish I ordered all from there! Those are great quality and pretty good prices.

(More customer reviews)This is the cheapest quality I have ever seen. It is completely overpriced at $20 and I definately would NOT recommend it. It is difficult to open and it does not appear it will accomodate 8 barbies as stated. Also on the back of the case there is a nickel sized cutout in the center that appears to buckle with the plastic causing a VERY sharp edge. It looks as if the back is unfinished with a bubbling plastice circle in the center. DO NOT PURCHASE this case as it is not worth the money!!!!!!!!!!
