Barbie I Can Be - Swim Instructor Review

I always loved my Barbie dolls when I was a kid and am now buying them for my 3 yr old. So I bought this one today at Target for $9.45, opened the box, removed the dolls and was covered in doll hair. Both dolls have hair that looks like it was chopped (a bad layer job) and both dolls are losing their hair. The hair is all over our clothes and floor. When did Barbie become so cheap? Other than the hair loss, my 3 yr old is having a lot of fun with both of these dolls (the little toddler is really cute) and she plans on taking them for a swim tomorrow. She loves them.

The wedding gown was east to put on any Barbie and my granddaughter loved it. Ken's outfit was another story. My granddaughter (age 5) was unable to put his tuxedo on. After about ten minutes of huffing and puffing I was able to push the pants part of the tux on Ken. I think this Ken will remain in his tux for a long time.

Barbie's full name is Barbara Millicent Roberts. In a series of novels published by Random House in the 1960s, her parents' names are given as George and Margaret Roberts from the fictional town of Willows, Wisconsin. Barbie has been said to attend Willows High School and Manhattan International High School in New York City, based on the real-life Stuyvesant High School. She has an on-off romantic relationship with her beau Ken (Ken Carson), who first appeared in 1961. Like Barbie, Ken shares his name with one of Ruth Handler's children
