(More customer reviews)We bought this costume for my 6 year old's birthday party and while she looked adorable the costume is just that, a costume. It's fairly flimsy and she probably won't be able to wear it more than two or three more times so it's not very good value for money.

Little Adventures Magical Mermaid Outfit Review

(More customer reviews)Yes, this isn't as fancy as the other mermaid costumes on the market, but it's very cute and durable. The fabric is comfortable and it is sewn like real clothing. The other costumes are made really poorly and don't look like they would last many washes. Most importantly, the tail on this costume is not too fancy so I don't have to worry about my child tripping. I bought four other mermaid costumes to try and returned the rest. They looked nicer online, with more details, but either were too dangerous or too annoying because the sparkles and sequins kept falling off. This costume is simple, durable, and cute. I would definitely recommend it. It's also nice that your child can wear the two pieces separately. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer is to make the waistband adjustable because the skirt was a bit loose for my child. I added two on the sides myself.

Disney Tangled Featuring Rapunzel Flynn Rider Fashion Doll Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter received the Flynn Rider doll for her 6th birthday this morning, and less than an hour out of the box his legs fell off! All my daughter did was hold him by his waist and pretend he was swinging off Rapunzels hair when both legs came off. Upon inspecting the doll, I found Mattel has very CHEAPLY manufactured this guy by attaching his legs to the torso via a rather flimsy elastic cord. If it breaks (which it did rather easily) the legs will NOT remain attached to his body! I had these types of dolls as a child and my daughter has just about every Barbie and Disney Princess imagineable and none have this sort of design. If their legs come off you just pop them back in. I wouldn't buy this doll unless Mattel fixes this problem. Fortunately we were able to exchange the broken one w/out a receipt, but I shouldn't have to tell my daughter to be "very careful" when playing with a plastic doll! Don't buy this thing and let Mattel get away with such cheap manufacturing!

Tangled Rapunzel'S Signature Dress (J-Hook) Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she has worn it constantly since she opened it up. The hem has already torn completely off and there is a large hole in the side seam of the bodice. We've had lots of Disney Princess dresses - ranging from the cheap versions that come in the dress-up trunks (which are actually the best quality AND they are usually machine washable) to the more expensive straight-from-the-theme-park versions, and the more expensive dresses all fall apart. This one included. The Aurora dress I bought my daughter for halloween for $50 fell apart instantly and I had to sew it back together (ever tried to sew chiffon by hand?), so I was very careful to buy one that was a little big and that had less chiffon involved when I chose this dress. It's not like she's climbing tress in it. The problem with these dresses is that they are so bottom heavy. The construction of them is such that the bodice can't support the heavy skirt layers. And for little girls who love to dance and twirl in these dresses, it's just poor craftsmanship at crazy high prices. I bought two of these from two different retailers...one for $39.99 and the other for $19.99...exact same dress. NOT worth the money, for sure, but once I have sewed it all back up, it is really cute and my daughter really loves it.

(More customer reviews)We got this set for my 5-year-old daughter for Christmas. She loves it! Rapunzel fits right in with all the other tiny princesses in our collection. My only quibble - the hair, while cute out of the box, became a tangled, ratted mess within hours of the toy being opened. We braided Rapunzel's hair to keep it manageable, because otherwise it was wrapping all around Rapunzel's arms, legs, and waist, and getting caught on everything. Once in a braid, it's much easier to deal with.

Disney Tangled Sing and Glow Rapunzel Doll Review

(More customer reviews)My girls just loved the Tangled movie and especially loved Rapunzel from he movie. The girls also love Barbie type dolls. I was given the opportunity to test out the Rapunzel Doll from this fashion doll line. The doll itself made me think of a type of Barbie Doll or a doll similar to those that we have in our home that are like Cinderella or Snow White.
The girls loved this doll and our biggest problem was a little green-eyed monster that seemed to follow the doll around (as we told the girls that they had to share the doll - yeah right). So we may be looking to get a second doll in the future to mitigate this.
Overall though, this was a great and fun doll, and one that I would recommend to others who enjoyed the Tangled movie, or who's kids love Rapunzel or Flynn Rider.

Otherwise, her hair will quickly turn into a mighty, tangled mess. My daughter loves it, but she does not like the cloth dresses that come with this doll because the doll cannot stand up like her other princess dolls do that come with the flexible plastic dresses.

Disney Tangled Rapunzel Boutique Set -- 7-Pc. Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my daughter's birthday and she was so excited. The doll and the clothing looks to be very well made which is a huge plus! The only downside is the really long hair which is such a pain to get untangled. My daughter did not want me to braid the hair which ultimately led to huge knots in the hair which I could not get out despite spending well over a half hour trying to untangle it. I finally convinced her that it was hopeless and that I would have to cut the hair (which she didn't want)so I had her take over trying to brush the doll's hair out. She finally got frustrated and let me cut the dolls hair to a more manageable length. Now the doll has several inches of tangled free hair and my daughter can brush it without it losing all of its hair. I would give this a 4 out of 5 just because of the frustrating hair. Defiantly try to braid it and don't let the hair just hang freely because it will get tangled.

(More customer reviews)Her large eyes and freckles say "I am my own person" unlike other Rapunzel dolls this one does NOT look like a Barbie. It's face being a bit rounder, jointed wrists so she can paint. And Magical shimmer hair, is perfect, her outfit is nicely detailed and she comes with her paint brush and chameleon. Still works with all of the other playsets, but much nicer looking. I get all of my princess dolls from disney now. They come with accessories that aid in playing the characters and all of the princes and princesses really look like the movie characters.
