birthdays, and Christmas, her precious eyes sparkle when she sees what she recieved from Santa, daddy, grandma and grandpa, her glows shows so very deeply, so grateful. she's a precious young lady. Sad that you are retireing Nellie....But, I'm sure there will be many more upcoming that she will enjoy just as well. Had to purchase on amazon.com, which I paid 400.00 for both dolls, and esseries. Due to being sick, I missed it on American Girl Dolls store..So I paid the, my grand-daughter is worth every penny. She take very good care of all her baby dolls, has an Oak Shelving unit that at the end of play-time they go back on the shelve.
How your company makes my baby-girl glow with apperication, she's such a thankful young-lady...Sincerely Grandma Patty Simpson

(More customer reviews)I recently bought this doll for my granddaughter from the American Girl site for $114, and that included her accessories which are not offered here.
The doll is very cute as are all the AG dolls, but I find it outrageous that an available doll is being offered on Amazon for almost twice the price you can get from the manufacturer! People might see the listing and conclude that it costs even more elsewhere, which is just not true.
