(More customer reviews)I have had various brands of this type of ready to assemble furniture, Sauder,Bush, O'Sullivan. No one expects military grade construction with this stuff; but this manufacture fall short of even average quality. This brand is by far the cheapest quality and design I have encountered. The part on any dresser that will get the most wear is naturally, the drawers. This unit has plastic guide rails for both of the slider parts; and no wheel rollers. The design of the drawer is also very cheep. Most of these type of units have a full box and then has the drawer face mounted as a separate panel with the drawer pulls. This design has the drawer front as the only part. Not a issue if the joints were assembles with dovetail joints. Not here, the only thing holding the drawer front on is a simple plastic hardware piece attached with one screw per side. The first time the drawer is closed too hard it is gone. If the sale price on this was half the listed cost it would still be a questionable value. Had I seen this item prior to purchase it would have keep shopping.

Guidecraft Dress-up Carousel Review

(More customer reviews)A year and a half later and the carousel is still going strong. I assembled it alone and found it a breeze. It is very sturdy and has held up to daily use. The pieces for the 'cubbies' have come apart a couple of times, but are easily re-inserted.
Its footprint is very small yet it holds so much! Previously we had a chest that took up a lot more room and the girls would end up having to take everything out in order to find a shoe or a piece of jewelry. The carousel is compartmentalized - a place for shoes, a place to hang up clothing several cubbies and shelves for purses and jewelry etc, so everything is a lot more accessible. It also helps in them being able to put everything away in its rightful place.
The girls love it and have used it daily since we purchased it (they LOVE dress-up!). The two full length mirrors are also a great feature. I initially didn't want to pay so much for an item such as this, but my daughters are now 3 and almost 5 and I think they will be using the carousel for a few more years, so it was defiantly worth the purchase price.

(More customer reviews)I bought this dresser for twice the price less than a year ago and it is junk. The top of the dresser is pealing, all but 3 of the knobs have pulled off, and it is VERY flimsy. I'd still be mad if I got it at this price, keep looking , this isnt the one.

Of course it is not high end furniture but it is durable enough for my 8 year old son. This particular piece has very roomy, smooth drawers. Also, I love the modern look and semi-glossy finish.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this dresser as a stop gap solution since I just moved into a new home.
For $60, you get a reasonable quality dresser. South of Ikea quality, but not laughable.
That is, of course, if you receive all the appropriate pieces. The unit I received had an extra drawer left side, but one too few right sides. No problem, right? South Shore says they will ship you replacement parts free of charge.
So three weeks and several phone calls later, I received my replacement part: The backing plate to an entirely different dresser.
I've submitted another request for parts and I patiently await their response. Based on my interaction so far, I expect to receive a tea kettle, several rubber bands, and the Best of Earth, Wind and Fire on vinyl.

Disney Princess 3 Bin Organizer with Roll Out Toy Box Review

(More customer reviews)It's pretty much the best choice for a Disney Princess toy box. It's not as big as you might think, but it will hold quite a few toys.
The main problem I have with it is the design. The construction was annoying, and it's not designed to be very durable. It may appear as if the large bin on the bottom is attached, and slides out, but it's not. It sits on 4 wheels and rolls in and out, independent from the rest of the structure. This is bad enough, but it gets worse. The 4 wheels are attached to the bottom of the bin, which is basically a piece of thick cardboard that slides into place in the bottom of the bin. The cardboard does not fit in perfectly though, not even close, so it slides back and forth. This isn't a good thing to attach wheels to, especially as you put more and more toys in it, increasing the weight, and even worse if the unit is on carpet. The rest of the structure isn't too durable either, there's not much holding it together. It's just a really dumb design that shouldn't have happened.

(More customer reviews)This toy, although cute, took FOREVER to put together. I have assembled other wooden toys before, but this was the hardest to follow. The instructions weren't very specific and the hardware to put it together were odd and hard to manipulate. After finally assembled (after about 2 hours) it isn't very durable, steady, and it is rather small (height and storage wise). I bought it for my 3 year old's dress up clothes, and for my 14 month twins to eventually use when they get bigger... but it is so short and has barely enough space for a few costumes. My 3 year old is about average size and he's taller than it!
If you are buying your child a Dress Up Clothes Organizer, I suggest looking elsewhere at a different one.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this from Amazon, having only seen it in photographs. Based on the online images I expected the top to be opaque pink, and the bottom part to be see-thru pink, so I could see what was inside. When it arrived the top was indeed the exact color as on Amazon, but the bottom was a pearlized lighter opaque pink. I don't have any problem with this, in fact I may even like it better, but it was just unexpected.
Overall the case is great. Just as advertised it will hold 15 dolls in a standing position, with plenty of space in the 2 compartments in the lid for all sorts of shoes and accessories. The doors on top are difficult to open, and I know I will have to help my 4 year old with it at first, until they "soften" up a bit, but at least they won't be flying open, spewing mini plastic platform shoes everywhere. As one previous reviewer noted, there is a larger open space in the main compartment that isn't great for holding a lot. I plan on using either a Ziploc bag in that space to maximize it, or attaching a (pink!?!) piece of cardboard or thin plastic to extend the height of it. We'll then be able to fit massive amounts of clothes in there!
My cart does say "Barbie" on the lid, but the markings are discrete, and tastefully done.
Overall, I like this cart. It's probably the best storage device for Barbie that I've seen. It's cute, fairly well-made and will hold a ton. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the issue with the interior storage, the handle seems a bit flimsy, the wheels are not great for carpet, and it's a bit pricey.
