(More customer reviews)Cute. I like how the cape is attached to the dress. Easy to put on. Not scratchy. Belt is tie on and easy to put on or take off plus comfortable. Would get for the outfit, gauntlets, and mask. The boot covers are huge and odd fitting, we don't use, costume just fine without. The mask is a little hard to work with for smaller children but our daughter is getting used to it. Initially she kept moving it off her head but now she can adjust it and will wear it. Happy with purchase.

Superman Dress Up Set Review

(More customer reviews)Overall, this is a cute little set to dress your child like Superman w/o spending lots of money. It comes with a vinyl cape, Superman plastic chest emblem, and plastic chain to pull apart and pretend like you're the man of steel. It will probably fit an average child up to about 6 or 7 years old. The chest shield has velcro straps on the top and bottom that stretch around the child's arm/shoulder area - so if your child is particulary large, it may not be comfortable to wear this. The vinyl cape attaches with velcro at the neck. One of the velcro tabs fell off and the vinyl started to rip (underneath the tab area) the very first day my son wore this. We took it back and exchanged it for another one. Even though the cape doesn't seem extremely durable, I'd still recommend it as a fun accessory for any little Superman fan. One more thing... I think the cape and Superman shield would look better in RED instead of the reddish brown color they ended up using. I'm not sure how many kids would care too much about the color though!

(More customer reviews)My son loves his cape! He's 3 & 1/2. I got him the red one & one in blue. He seems to prefer the blue one & has me wear the red one & we pretend to fly around together. I liked this one because it had a velcro closing on the neck. For safety reasons I wanted velcro because it'll open up & come off if the cape catches on something or some kid tries to pull it off him. I didn't want to get a cape that tied. I thought that would be a choking hazard. There are so many things a parent has to think of in the area of safety. As it is, I had to tell him that the cape would not really allow him to fly that it was only pretend flying. I think at first he was a little disappointed at the thought that he couldn't "really" fly but he still loves it & pretend flies all over the house & even wears it to daycare.

(More customer reviews)My nearly four-year-old girl loves this cape. Sometimes she wears it running around shooting water out of her "shooters" when she's "Water Girl." Other times, the cape doubles as a "princess cape" and is worn over her fanciest costumes. Any kid would love this, but especially those who spend most of their hours in various costumes playing dress-up. It's well made and cut to fit around the shoulders, so it fits nice. Velcro makes for easy on-off for little fingers.
