(More customer reviews)I ordered this doll to fulfill a Christmas stocking wish from our church tree. The stocking was looking for an "unbreakable Native American Doll". Everywhere I searched, Native American dolls were porcelain. This was the cutest one I found that was "unbreakable" I placed my order late on a Tuesday evening and she is here looking at me on Friday evening (from AZ to NY). She has a tag that indicates she is not an Indian Produced product and she was made in China. For $11.99 she is what I was looking for...about 12 inches, eyes that open/close. I thought I ordered the first doll in photo (in yellow outfit) but apparently you get random selection in the clothes. The doll I received seems made well for a small child with flower printed blue outfit. She is adorable for a small child with shiny braided hair. Hopefully she pleases her new recipient for Christmas.

(More customer reviews)I bought this doll for my 4 1/2 year old daughter 2 weeks ago. She'd earned a treat, and loves baby dolls, so when I saw this on the store shelves, I grabbed it.
This doll has a sweet face, with vivid eyes, and doesn't look contrived or anime-inspired, like a lot of dolls available. It's blessedly free of sound chips, motion sensors, batteries, and the worry that at some point, you're going to have to tell your child her beloved doll has suffered severe cardiac arrest from battery corrosion and has to be thrown out.
Best of all, it's solidly constructed and due to the water inside, fairly heavy feeling. The interior is composed of a special liner which inhibits or prevents mold growth, and I'm pretty sure it's pthalate free (wouldn't have bought it otherwise). The doll also comes with a small story booklet that emphasizes sharing and other people's feelings.
It's my little girl's favorite doll, and she especially loves that she can take her baby in the shower or pool and not worry. A definite recommendation!

She loves it so much that she takes it to bed with her and carries her around most of the day. I would highly recommend this doll to all "little mothers". Madame Alexander is a great name for collector dolls and I am really happy to see that they now have a baby doll line.
