Webkinz Penguin Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter got this penguin for Christmas. It is totally cute (on the computer too). It is the biggest Webkinz I have ever seen. It stands out from all the others my daughter owns (she has 16 to date) because it is so tall and wide.
One thing we have noticed with the Webkinz though, the seams like to come apart easily and have to be sewn back together. It has happend to 2 so far.
They are great on the Computer. Teaches the kids responsibility since they have to feed, play with and take them to the vet. You can buy all kinds of things for your Webkinz and decorate their room any way you want. Many things in your pets room are interactive, like the stove, swimming pool etc. You can also plant a garden and grow your pets own vegetables.
We love Webkinz!

(More customer reviews)The costume is cute. And, it will work since she isn't even walking yet but it is not the highest quiality. I have seen better quality ones but I have also seen worse. Saying that, I would recommend this to others. Weird size though (3 months to 12 months) ... huge range but it seems all the baby costumes are. Happy Halloweening!

Like a lot of their accessories, it's very well made and cute. A bit pricey, though. Definitely a perfect chair for a child who has Hello Kitty or a stuffed animal with one of the Hello Kitty outfits.

(More customer reviews)I bought this as a Christmas present for my ten year old niece. She specifically asked for it, and wanted the white kitty. Initially I thought that a stuffed animal was too juvenile for a ten year old but apparantly Hello Kitty is popular with an older set of girls, too. When the toy arrived, it was boxed in its own separate decorated Christmas box from Build-a-Bear. The kitty looks precisely like the cartoon. It was very well-made with stitched eyes and whiskers and a plastic nose. The pink hair bow is attached with velcro ans is removable. It had an extremely soft and satiny "coat" and a soft, huggable body. I was enchanted with kitty myself. When my niece opened her gift, she squealed with delight, which was proof to me that this really was her desired gift. She continues to play with Kitty White. This may the the longest lasting gift of Christmas '09.

(More customer reviews)My son (3) actually found this at a toy store chain. I think we both fell in love with it the second he started bleating! I thought it would get annoying after awhile, but he eventually will settle down and go to sleep. So don't worry, it cuts off before it really gets baaad (heh).
It makes an awesome nighttime pal to sleep with. Also works as an impromptu pillow. Very soft and cuddly...as sheep should be (toy ones anyway). The teddy bear detatches, which is nice.
The only way that it's educational is it teaches kids what sound a sheep makes (which is important, right?), and I guess helps their nurturing ability (my son loves putting him to sleep).

(More customer reviews)My youngest one loves Dora and all her friends. We had tons of Dora dolls, but no Swiper (or Boots for that matter). We found the Swiper (and Boots) plush dolls by Ty and they're everything you would expect from a Ty plush doll. (They're the company that makes Beanie Babies.)
Swiper comes about 7" or so high and is really cute. My daughter loves playing with him and calling out "Swiper No Swiping!"

The doll is very adorable, and quite detailed actually. He even has a little chain that goes into his pocket. Its fragile though, I would not recommend this if you are giving it to a child to play with.

North American Bear Company Rosy Cheeks Baby Brunette Review

(More customer reviews)"Rosey" has been part of our lives for almost 3 years now. I gave this baby doll to my granddaughter for her 1st birthday in December 2005, and immediately became 'the' toy. Rosey travels everywhere with her, is her sleep companion and companion in all play. She washes up beautifully- right in the washer (we have a front load, so no agitator - I would put her in a bag if there is an agitator on your machine, but I still think she would fare well - I believe the other household she spends 50% of her time in has an agitator type machine) - and goes in the dryer as well. We got rid of the bracelet early on... the baby wasn't crazy about it... it was 'scratchy', on an otherwise terrifically cuddly doll (an older child may like it, it is a cute accessory - but we haven't missed it any). The stitched details are wonderful, defining fingers, toes, belly button and tush - very cute. The hair ribbon was lost almost immediately, but not missed at all. The hat is attached, and still upon her head, complete with ribbon, which hasn't even frayed a bit in the MANY washings over the years! I have been extremely pleased with the durability of this little doll with all the loving (and occasionally not so loving) constant attention she receives. I would recommend this doll to all Grandma's out there looking for a "snuggly" she hopes will become her granddaughter's favorite! I had found our Rosie in a specialty boutique, and now that I have found her online, I may just have to buy a few to have on hand in my 'gift box' for new babies, special people birthdays etc - she is well worth the price! UPDATE: 1/4/2011 - This doll is STILL a favorite and STILL holding up beautifully!
